We listen, act, and transform
Thank you for reaching out to me. Sometimes making that call is challenging, so congratulations to you for taking the first step towards greater peace of mind.
I think a good therapist who has had many life experiences can understand, be less judgmental, and can help her clients better. I am certainly in that category, and I want you to feel safe enough with me to open up and start the healing process.
So many clients have expressed their fear of facing past hurts, fearing they'll drown in the traumatic memories, which has been a factor in putting off getting help.
Well, as you may already know, it takes a lot of energy to keep those hurtful memories pushed down. It's exhausting.
No process is a straight line, and some aspects of the healing are easier than others. Therefore, learning to be patient with yourself and to start to trust yourself will be key lessons to allow the positive progress to unfold in it's own time.
I am seeing clients by telehealth on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. I am only able to meet clients in person on Tuesdays only. Sometimes people would like to meet in person first, and we can do that. Telehealth sessions work great, by the way!
